First Moon
First Moon (composition elements - grasses and creek currents). This photograph was created through a combination of multiple exposures and intentional camera movement. The camera is deliberately moved during a long exposure to create a sense of motion, capture shapes or transform the subject matter. Selected photographs are then layered to create further abstractions and textures. The finished works can be the result of 10 to 20 transparent photographs stacked together. This process creates an exciting element of surprise. The resulting lines and colours create something recognizable yet unexpected. The images explore the natural world and our experiences and interpretations of it. A multiple exposure photograph, printed on archival, matte, fine art paper. Limited to editions of 30. A white border contains the edition number and signature. A corresponding certificate of authenticity is included.
