This creation, as many of my purely abstract works started out spontaneously and intuitively wanting to explore different textures and colour combinations. As the image developed and presented itself to me, I began to visualize sitting in a vehicle looking out the large window and seeing the road passing beneath me, all the textures in the asphalt unveiling themselves to me. I love the adventure of heading out and not knowing where you will end up....road trip anyone ?
