A printer runs out of ink, receipt paper reaches the end of the roll, all that remains are streaks of colour. Taryn's End of the Line series was an exploration into the inevitable loss of information that takes place as a process begins to 'fail' and break apart. This series challenges the notion of a finished artwork, and engages with the beauty in minimalism as the result of a system breaking down, forcing a premature ending.

No longer tied to the limited colours produced by her failing printer, this series of abstract geometric paintings are inspired by found colour schemes from the many photographs Taryn takes of her everyday surroundings, as well as from her past.
